K.I. Singh is an architect with more than four decades of professional experience. After graduating from Corbusier’s famed city of Chandigarh in 1974, he served the J&K Govt. for two and half years. He returned to his alma-mater Chandigarh College of Architecture as Asst. Prof. and taught from 1977-1978. Post which he joined IAAI and worked on the design of Mumbai’s Sahar Airport and town planning for its staff townships. He joined NTPC, in 1980 as an architect, where he stayed on to lead an Infrastructural Services team comprising of Architects, Civil Engineers, Structural Engineers and Service Engineers.

He currently runs his own practice Singh Design Studio which offers consultancy services for architecture, town planning and interior design. The firm is empaneled as an Architectural Consultant with NMDC Ltd.  Over the years, the firm has also been empaneled with government organizations such as Delhi Cantonment Board and Department of Urban Housing & Local Self Government, Government of Rajasthan. He has also been a visiting faculty at Sushant School of Art & Architecture and Vaastu Kala Academy College of Architecture.
